    Default Section hike in September/October

Looking for hiking partner(s) to do a section hike anywhere between PA 309, Blue Mountain Summit and Stormville, NY in September and/or early October. Normally do 12-to-15 MPD but comfortable with a few more. Sheltering, tenting, or slack-packing is fine with me and can provide shuttle vehicle.

That is exactly where I left off on my last NOBO section hike. Great time of year to be out there too. I just don't have much available time this year though. Good luck and try to report back on the hike.

Also, what is the total mileage on that section?

Ktaadn: Thanks. Wish you could join me. I think this section is about 190 miles. I did a 20 mile walk in NY so I hope to do the remaining 170 some time in the next couple of months.
I'll let you know how it goes!

I want to start south of the whites and hike SOBO for 2 months. I will need a week to work up to 12-15 but that is what I usually do once my body is broken in... maybe more once the terrain flattens. I can start mid September and go through october. What do u think?
