Not excusing what Casey did, but it is not exactly the harbinger of the end times. Rather it shows there have, and always will be, knuckleheads. And that young people have not changed much in 2000 years.
I'd like to emphasize the phrase "crappy art" in this particular instance. I recently broke down and looked photos of Knockett's handiwork and it looks like construction paper and a refrigerator door would have been more appropriate mediums and locations for display.

I think a bunch of wire brushes and being forced to remove all damage would be appropriate.

How about we just leave the restoration work to the professionals with the proper tools and just charge her for the expense.

They prefer the term Geological aesthetics specialist.

Given that she used acrylic paint I wonder if the sun and weather would take care of most of it within a few years?

I know forest service has brought in pressure washers to remove graffiti before. Its effective with least damage most likely. Recall a couple dumba$$ that spray painted their names. Local cops knew who they were immediately.

They should have chopped off the womans fingers.

    Errors of Judgement?

I am not condoning her actions. I, as were most others, was incensed at her actions. However, "unforgiveable"(?) or worthy of having her fingers "chopped off"? These seem like proclamations of those who don't recognize in themselves the capacity to make an "error in judgement".

If you harbor this belief in yourself, I agree that your profile specified location is precisely accurate.

Lighten up Francis! (FYI- Stripes reference for the younger crowd)
