Where the heck is Sonora Pass & the Klamath Mountains?
Yesterday's hike was from the middle of California to Lassen Volcanic NP.
    Make up your mind. Grinning.
    Oregon is cool.
    Have fun!

I believe south of Lake Tahoe up to Crater Lake basically

    Oregon seems very cool.

I talked to a dude at the PCT office and he also said that this hike was more sustainable for the trail...an added bonus imo.

Way cool! I know you'll make it. By all means, you must see Crater Lake.

Not sure that I understand that. Unless he meant that fewer people hike that chunk. That makes sense. Good for you.

Yeah, that's pretty much all he meant.

I shall watch your progress. I figure 2 months is about all of the time I can expend on a hiking exercise.
This could be a good chunk to hike.
If the CDT doesn't get all of my attention first.
    All the best to you.
