Springer to Virginia starting late June... Any others heading out then?

School will be out for the summer, so adventure time begins!
Anyone else heading out of Springer at that time?
Will the trail be a ghost town???
Anyone flying into ATL and want to share a shuttle?

We did all our long family section hikes in the South in late June. There are plenty of people on the trail - individual hikers, and lots of camp groups, some of them pretty large. You won't be totally alone, at all, though of course you might have a night or two alone at a shelter.

I know of one person in my area starting from Springer on 6/23/16, heading NoBo for 5 or 6 days.

I want to go back and pick up where I left off which was Hightower Gap. I'm a slow mover. If I could get another slow mover to hike with I'd do my best to make it back.

Looks like I will be heading NOBO from AF Falls SP mid-June for a few hundred miles....
