    Default Ocala south to north

    Planning A trip to do ocala south to north and was thinking about just starting here in citrus by the holder mine rec area and continuing until it meets up with the cross florida greenways section then continue north to ocala. was curious if anyone knew how much of this tract was road walk if any ?

    The Withlacoochee state trail is from Inverness to Dunnellon that is similar to road walking about 20 miles I think then you can get on the greenway

    I live at the north end of the WST and much of the route to connect to the greenway is also road bed. Once on the greenway, the trail varies between limerock roads and trails all the way into Ocala.

    Its great to see some citrus county folks around.
    I am in homosassa.
    If I die trying now I wont die wondering how life could have turned out.....

    I agree, and with the heat we've been experiencing here lately, dreaming of time in the mountains is the only thing keeping me from going nuts...
    I know I was thinking of an overnighter on the citrus tract today and tomorrow but then I was like its just to damn hot.
    If I die trying now I wont die wondering how life could have turned out.....
