I'm driving into DC that day, and my hiking partner is flying in that day. Wondering if any locals would want to give us a tour, we will be there most of the day, just going to leave early enough to get to Harper's Ferry that night...

Of course we want to hit the mall and all of the major sites...( he's a Canadian, and I'm from the south) But maybe there is something off the beaten path that we should see..

I am in DC daily (right near the mall). Not sure what my schedule will look like but if I see two people with backpacking gear on the mall, Ill say whats up.
