    I'm Scott , 32 from Pittsburgh pa. Starting the Approach trail on March 25th. Is anyone else starting that day? Looking to meet people right away!

    I'll be between hog pen and unicoi April fool weekend. I'll get there Thursday, the day before the first. I'm a weekend warrior around them parts of Georgia, only live 15 miles south of Atlanta. .so if you need something hot waffle house by then, let me know.

    One week in, you should be in NC by then, but then again I've met people one week in at neel gap. These appalacha foothills down here will wake you up quick , how broke in are your legs?

    Pretty good I've hiked many times just never a long distance, solo hike. The whole "solo" thing has me on edge. Looking for group to join up with basically

    i just left georgia. camped at gooch gap for 4 days. saw about 150 folks pass through there. you'll meet people right away

    Assuming that's normal for mid-to-late March in Georgia.
