If you just want water to boil use a esbit ti wing stove. Nothing lighter and easier.

Yesterday and this morning I did some water boiling using a Toaks 750 and an XL that was modified with a heat shield so it could operate efficiently in small quarters. I was surprised at the results. I was not interested in amount of time to attain a boil, just efficiency of fuel.
Toaks 750
DIY Titanium windscreen/pot support.
2.5 cups water per test (3 tests) start temps were at approx. 55 degrees
Denatured alcohol in the Starlyte XL (slow) with carbon felt heat shield.
1.16gr(0.56oz) used for 2.5 cups
2.19gr(0.67oz) used for 2.5 cups
3.17gr(0.59oz) used for 2.5 cups
My fourth test consisted of 2 cups water because I thought I would not have sufficient fuel remaining.
4. 15gr(0.52oz) used for 2 cups
I suspect I had enough fuel remaing to boil another 2 cups.
The StarlyteXL holds 4 ounces of fuel The burner weighs 26gr(0.917oz)
My Toaks 750 was the one I used during the development of the device used to apply the ridgline to the Ti pots. The photo of the pot shows the test rings. Doubt they had any positive effect on the efficiency. The pot sits 1″ down into the pot support, very stable. From the bottom of the pot support to the bottom of the pot is 2″.
1″ from bottom of pot to top of burner.
Incoming air is directed to sides of burner, keeping it cooled while in use.
Pot support is same diameter of pot, very stable. Pot is only 2″ from ground.
Under calm conditions in my garage, the flame of the burner remains under the pot, none going out the top holes. The heat shield is what makes this set-up work so well. The 1″ of titanium in contact with the entire circumference of the pot bottom also is what is making this work so well. The pot acting like a huge heat sink while the stove is in operation.

Here is what the pot support looks like side by side with a cone style support. Shows the means of closure. I call mine the tounge and groove. Pots are Toaks 550. Pot supports are 3" tall:

Well almost anywhere. If I get my spring cleaning done in the next 2 weeks I should be able to accept Titanium pots to be sent to me and I could put a ridgeline wherever you like and then you can make your own DIY cone and use your DIY stove for a personalized kit. Pots with handles are more difficult but doable.
This video shows one of the modified Toaks pots:
I have a Toaks Siphon stove, and it is great. As for as I know it is pretty much identical in function to the eCHS (which I don't own), just more durable due to titanium construction. No complaints about efficiency, however I do prefer to use a wide-bottom pan even with this style of stove to capture as much of the heat as possible. I use it with a small titanium tea cup just fine too.
The only complaint is that the pot stand that Toaks sells to go with the stove is half an inch too tall, which means loss of efficiency if you use it as it comes - for fastest boil times you'll want the pot to sit closer. This can easily be corrected with a pair of wire snippers, by placing a small rock underneath the stove to lift it up a bit, or by using something else as your pot stand (that's perhaps also wind resistant).
For the 750ml Toaks I use my UL-compressed-felt stove:

There's a stove on eBay that works great with small diameter pots. Here is a pic. The stove sells for a whopping $5.00!

I made a couple "fancy feest" stoves today and poured in 3 oz of denatured alcohol. I filled my Toaks titanium 1600 ml pot w/ 33 oz of tap water, brought to a rolling boil (with lid) in under 5 minutes. I then added a full bag of the Bear Creek's "Darn Good Chili". I stirred 7 times over the next 35 minutes with no sticking to the bottom of the pot. I had a steady and even flame that just curled to the lower edge of the pot. I am extremely pleased with the Zelph "Fancy Feest" stove. A huge thanks to all who posted information on it and especially to Zelph for continuing to share his adaptations.IMG_20160831_114530[1].jpgIMG_20160831_120112579[1].jpgIMG_20160831_120125294[1].jpg
