Leaving Sunday for Amicalola Lodge to stay a couple days before the beginning of my hike on the 24th. Let the fun begin!

We got 3" of rain laslt night just south of Amicalola and nasty winds. Hope you're warm and dry!
Leaving tomorrow for a camping trip in middle Ga. It is suppose to be clear but cold for the next few days.
It wont be clear until Friday and there possible snow and a wind advisory for Thursday, Happy hiking!
yes, its snowing lightly at the moment and the winds howling. I will be leaving Amicalola lodge in the morning to get back on the approach trail nearby. But having lived in Minnesota I know how to dress for the cold so I should be alright. The wife is a little nervous leaving me here... lol.
I did it...a written blog, a photo blog, and a youtube blog. I have never regretted it for one second on or after the trail. Especially after. Throwing yourself into projects helps keep "real life" from feeling depressing.
