Let's hike together on March 16th!

Hey there! I have had my heart set on a NOBO thru-hike for quite some time now, but my original partner has backed out due to a job opportunity (Great for him!). Unfortunately, my parents aren't comfortable with me going on this adventure alone and I would enjoy having someone to share it with as well.

I will be riding the Greyhound to Gainesville, GA and staying in a hotel there on March 15th. On the 16th I have arranged for a shuttle to pick my future partner and I up at 9:30 AM at the hotel and drop us off at the approach trail. If you're interested give me a shout and we can start getting to know each other and making some plans!

If you don't get any responses, I don't think you'll have any problem finding a hiking partner on the Trail with a March 16th start date and you certainly won't be hiking alone. See you on the Trail!

I'm starting March 13! I'll be rather quick paced, but I don't doubt we may see each other on the trail at one time or another!

I'm starting first week in April - flexible start date. I live two hours from Springer, so I'm playing it by ear right now - awaiting final gear selections and making sure my body is ready! See you on the trail!!
