    update: the V2 really does help with side-sleeping compared to a Ridgerest. However, I found it awkward for stomach sleeping, with head turned. It just feels odd to have big gaps where it contacts your face. I might be able to get used to it, however.

    We use Exped SIM Lite 2.5's, which are only 1" thick (same as a regular Prolite but rectangular), in the XS size (20"x48"), and they work just fine for side sleeping...
