    Default Grow those beards!

Beards get a lot of crap (literally) for being filled with bacteria that you typically find in feces. Well, turns out growing a beard may have its health advantages...such as preventing MRSA colonization. Take a look:

This isn't a horrible study, but it's not a good one. I categorize it as clickbait statistics. Beards are the in thing to discuss, so they focus on beards vs. clean shaven.

How about including some statistics for just hair on one's head in general. Long hair, short hair, naturally bald? The general health and transmission of disease from one person to another, the likelihood of the beard making yourself sick, the likelihood of contracting sickness through tiny shaving cuts and irritation? The measured hygiene habits of the population, vs. self reported habits?

Instead, we get a general kind of idea that maybe beards might fight infection in certain circumstances.
