The Barn is now charging a fee to park. It'll be in next year's Companion (and I assume the AT Guide too).

I parked there 2 weeks ago. Backed the wagon in against the wood line. Right in front of a sign that said something along the lines of no parking. customers only. Left a note in window that said "On AT until Sunday afternoon, please don't toe, will be a customer upon return."

Car was there along with a fantastic meal

Two year old thread, but it still applies. The trail crossing is at exit 54 (I-81), which is a place called Groseclose. Atkins is at exit 50, four miles from the AT crossing. If a hiker wants me to shuttle them to "Atkins", I know where they're talking about, but it might confuse some people.
