Default WTB Shelter that doubles as rain gear

My wife has to get off the trail due to leg pain that hasn't ceased for the past 400 miles.

I'm in a rough situation, gear wise, because I only have a kit that's geared toward 2P loads. I have a heavy TT SS2 and a 9oz rainshell. I'm looking for a shelter that doubles as rainwear fast, so I can get back on the trail with a lighter kit and keep raising money for charity.

Any shelter that doubles as rain gear would fit the bill. Thanks in advance.

Maybe someone has a Six Moon Designs Gatewood Cape for sale. (12oz)

    Backpacking light, feels so right.

YMMV, but I found that the Gatewood cape didn't make for very good rain gear or shelter. But it is handy on occasion so I'm still keeping mine.
