    Default Burlington VT Ride ideas

    Hello all,
I'm meeting up with my thru hiking family to do part of the long trail in a few weeks. They are going to be 4 days ahead of me so I was planning on catching them near stowe. Any ideas about trail access there, or transit options from the burlington airport? Thanks!

    there is a bus system - http://gmtaride.org/schedules-and-fares/system-map/

the LT crosses the interstate from the airport about 8 miles before you get to waterbury. no services at that point but you could camp out and wait.

you could go on to stowe a pay hugely for a hotel room there then hitch up to a LT crossing about 10 miles out of stowe.

kinda tough to get into and find people.

You might try these 2 places for a less expensive ride.
    RCT : www.riderct.org 802 748-8170
    GMTA : http://gmtaride.org 802 223-7287
They both have standard routes and they will also do point to point ride for a price.
