    Cool Atlantic City, WY Information

I hope that you all will find this information I found at Crazy Guy on a Bike help full.
Read the whole page. The cafe closed days will be good or bad news depending on when you arrive. Yvonne's Book Shop & Ice Cream Parlor at the bottom of the page might be the most beneficial to everyone passing through Atlantic City.

    Cool Diagnus Well

The next page is interesting also.
If the Diagnus Well is not on the CDT, it should be. Not a good place to hang a hammock.

No fences. Or much of anything.

    Be safe. Carry water.

I forgot to add that the information above is from 2013.
"The times they are a changing."
I do know that the well is still flowing. Things in Atlantic City may have changed.

That link doesn't mention the Atlantic City Mercantile, which was one of the coolest stops on the entire trail. It's an authentic old-time saloon with one of the most beautiful bars I've ever seen. Do not miss it if it's open, even if just for a look!

OK, the photo above is a sign posted on the front door of the Atlantic City Mercantile. Here is the photo above the one I posted.

Now we have all of the facts straight. Thanks for pointing out my omission.

    Cool Atlantic City Mercantile

Another plug for Atlantic City Mercantile.

Probably a fun place to eat in the middle of nowhere, like the Starlight in Terlingua.

10-K: Looking forward to a selfie taken at the bar in the Atlantic City Mercantile. Out front will do if they are closed when you get there.
