Question Water in NC - TN in 2015

    All,

We are hiking from Hurricane Gap (just trail north of Hot Springs, NC) to the Nolichucky River (just trail south of Erwin, TN) in early June and were wondering how the water sources are this year. According to the online trail information there are plenty of sources each day but I wanted to check on this forum. Has anyone recently hiked that section that can tell me how the water sources are?

    Thanks,

I've recently done several day hikes in the area and all the water sources are flowing well. So far the rainfall in the mountains has been a little above average. My guess is that you'll be fine.
    Enjoy your hike.

I was just north of Erwin over the weekend in Hampton, TN area and all the spring were running very well. Had storms last night and more expected this week so you should be fine.
