    Default AT Socks

I have 2 pairs of Darn Tough Vermont Light Hiker Micro Crew Light Cushion (#1913) and I really loved them when I used them at Philmont, and for shorter day hikes here in the Midwest. Would they be appropriate for use on the AT? If not, does DTV make another "model" of socks that is more appropriate?

(I'm not affiliated with Darn Tough Vermont, I just really love their unreal durability and quality, and their unconditional lifetime guarantee )

I love my Darn Tough Micro Crew Light Cushion, both on the trail and off. I wear them every day, including with my black suit when needed. Yes, they are appropriate for the trail, though in the summer I choose a low cut pair of light cushion socks.
