Default FOUND Brown/White male hound dog

FOUND 1 mile south of No Business Knob Shelter 5/16. Followed thru-hiker "Rue" to Uncle Johnny's Hostel on Nolichucky River where he is tied up for the night hoping to hear from his owner. Very friendly dog, no collar, male.

Thanks, but it isn't him. We are hoping "Rue" will send a picture that we can post.

Sorry to hear about your sister's dog but tell her to be hopeful! We lost our dog for 22 hours a few year ago and it was the longest 22 hours of our lives, so we know what she's going through. (Has she alerted the Sheriff's office and the U.S. Forest Service?). They will find each other!

Dog is at the shelter resting and recovering. We're blessed with a low-kill shelter and have connections with several hound-rescues.

You are the BEST! He seemed like a really happy, friendly dog so hopefully he'll find a new owner that will take good care of him...like, fix him, chip him, and keep him on a leash at all times on the AT! Thanks so much for helping "Rue" and the hound.

Glad you could (I'm assuming) help out 10-K. How soon until I see him at your house?
