any additional info that you want the world to know: I'm flying into Atlanta on the 24th. Hiker Hostel is running a hiker thru special for $85 bucks, so made a reservation with them. So trail start date will be March 25. I am a disabled veteran with MS. Just coming off a relapse in early Feb, so hitting the gym for cardio and strength training. I figure the trail will be tough. Hopefully after a few weeks I will get the trail legs, that people talk about. Anyway, hoping to hike the entire trail.

Attempted a NOBO last year, made it to the quarter way mark, then hurt my back and had to get off the trail. I hope to see some friends from last year.

My name is Allie, I do not have a trail name yet so hopefully I will acquire one along the way. I'm headed northbound starting April 1. Not planning on doing the approach trail as of right now. I'm actually looking for a group to hike with if anyone wouldn't mind an extra person joining their group or knows of the correct place to post looking for a group. I'm new to the site and don't want to post in the wrong place, but also would like to be able to meet up with some people who I've talked to ahead of time on April 1.
