Default Weather in Hot Springs area

For spring break I'm doing a section on the AT before Hot springs and I'm wondering if I should still bring a down jacket. It says it's going to be a low of 40 in hot springs and since I'll be higher up I'm just wondering if I should bring it or not.

36* at my house this morning. Spring break locally is this week, and we're doing a short section near Hot Springs this coming weekend. I will have my down jacket. Doesn't take up much space, but makes the time at camp much more comfortable.

I'd bring my down jacket this time of year.
