    From the description:

"This half bag only covers your lower half but is equipped with warm PrimaLoft Infinity insulation and a waterproof breathable HyVent DT shell, so your legs are just as warm as your upper body when you sleep wearing a puffy insulated jacket."

Montbell Down Tec pants weigh 14oz and can be worn while doing camp chores, and with full side zips can be donned/removed without removing boots/snowshoes/skis.

IMVHO the Elephant's Foot is not something I would want to depend upon as an element of my sleep system for multiple nights in very cold (0°F and below) weather.

Have you used it? Perhaps I am short-changing it...

I am thinking it's marketed as a bivouac bag for mountaineering. You'll need some heavy duty parkas, headgear and mittens to survive a night at altitude. I would be concerned after a couple of uses the interior would be soaking wet. Also you'd need a sheltered location to minimize wind chill.

    +1

    Very specialized, niche item.
