I am a trail maintainer with TEHCC in Upper East Tennessee, Download my free photo journal eBook on the A.T. from Max Patch to Damascus. http://athike200.com
The free eBook features nearly 200 photos of the trail in East Tennessee including the Roan Highlands and a guide to complete the section in 14 days.

I hope to hike that part of the trail this year. These are lovely photos, and I plan to read the text as well. Thanks so much for making this available.

It's a great section and it has changed a lot since the book was published. We've completed several relocations especially in the Roan Highlands and near Dennis Cove. (new bridge at Koonford, which is awesome) Don't forget to stop at Kincora and visit with Bob on your journey. All the Best, Joe Morris.

Thank you for your kind comments. Mountain Squid made a valid point yesterday during our maintenance outing: if you are concerned about direct downloads and security, you can read the book online here

However, don't be concerned about downloading the book. There's no spam, all downloads are anonymous. I don't have a site meter nor do I pay to track stats with the domain provider. It's available only because I want to share my love of photography and the trail with Whiteblaze users.
