***Please do the survey even if you didn’t complete the A.T.—we can learn from everyone’s experience.***
I’m a former thru-hiker (trail name “Wisp”, GA – ME, 2011) working on a research study about the psychology of A.T. thru-hiking.
To take the survey, please go to this link: http://listenagain.stir.ac.uk/media/2014/atthruhike/
Anyone (age ≥ 18) who has tried to thru-hike the A.T. for the first time in 2004 – 2014—including those who didn't complete the thru-hike AND those who did—is asked to take the survey.
-It takes about 25 minutes.
-Those who take the survey will be able to receive a summary of the study’s results.
-This may help others with their A.T. thru-hikes.
-This study is part of my Sport Psychology Ph.d program.
-This study was approved by my university (contact info below).
Thank you!
