Parking at Panorama?

Can anyone advise if hikers are allowed to park at the old Panorama near the Thornton Gap park entrance? Panorama has closed down, right?

Panarama, the restaurant was demolished in 2007 or '08 and replaced with restrooms .
Hikers can park there and leave a car . If backpacking the park for an overnighter just remember to fill out the permit , stating where your car will be parked and number of days .
