Default Woody Gap leave car for a 4 day hike

I haven't found any alerts about problems at Woody Gap, so will my car likely be OK parked over the 4th for 4 days/.
Probably going to be a busy time, is there a fair amount of parking area?
We are planning to hike back to car from Dicks Creek.
And how's the water in that section? The only reports I can find are 2-3 months old.
    Thanks

I passed through Woody Gap in June, a really nice area, decent parking lot, trash cans, picnic tables and nice latrines. Great place for a lunch break, lots of day hikers. Water at the gap isn't right at the trail crossing/parking area; didn't need it so didn't go looking. I would feel pretty comfortable leaving my car there.

I've left my car there numerous times for multi-day trips. No problem. This time of year, there is a lot of traffic going by.

No problem leaving your car at Woody for and extended period of time.

And water is generally flowing well still although seasonal seeps and springs are beginning to dry up.

My only caveat to your plan is that the Woody parking lot will be full by Friday morning and maybe even by Thursday afternoon.

If you want some options send me a PM.
