What happened? Updated group info.

I saw Rafe's thread about when to retire this morning, and now it poof'd off somewhere. I noted it as an interesting topic to review during lunch at work- but gone!

Found it with google foo but then I was told-

Did this get closed, moderated, or is there something I missed along the way regarding the group system? I can't seem to find a group this got moved to and clicking the link appears to take me to a spot to request to start a new group? Or is this a request to join some new supergroup?

Once joined then everything is "back to normal" and all threads show up?
Is this the new version of groups or just a more private side

The thread only shows with new posts if you join it. Keeps non members from seeing on web.

No requirements of donation (for this one) just have to join it on your Usercp.

Sometime members start not AT threads there, sometimes they get moved there.

Non-AT General is an open subscription forum. Technically it is a user group, it is not the same as a group in the Groups area. The direct link provided by WingedMonkey is located under your profile, left column, Permission Groups Box use the Join Groups link. Mags put a helpful sticky on how to get there, sticky is in the General forum
