    I figured it out.... number 15 bobbins were only 99cents for 5, at walmart. The problem now is jack being able to thread the needle with his paw

    Based on a bit of searching, it appears that Rocky Mountain Federal Wilderness Areas allow dogs on leash in the backcountry. Verify that with a phone call to specific Ranger Stations before you drive out west. An alcohol stove might be a different story.
    Finding 100+ miles of trail to hike out west is easy. Trying to decide on only 100+ miles is hard. Jack might appreciate booties.

    There's a Chinese carry-out place in town with a sign that says "Children not allowed on the counter", from which I logically conclude that adults are allowed on the counter ;-)
