    Default Max Patch -> Hot Springs Water Report

    Headed up tomorrow... I've been told the first <10 miles has lots of water... Last 15 miles can be spotty/unreliable. Never been on this section so lookin for any info.

    AT - starting at Max Patch and ending in Hot Springs NC

    their is three reliable water sources in that section, theirs a nice little creek you will cross right before you start the climb up Max Patch, their is a good sized creek about 50 yards past Roaring Fork which is the water source for that shelter, and the water source for DeerPark shelter which is the shelter a couple of miles south of HS, Their is other sources but they are unreliable and very spotty, their is a seasonal spring at the base of Bluff MT it might be flowing, Don't even bother with the water source at walnut MT shelter.
