Default Six loose dogs near Hot Springs

We did a short weekend hike north of Hot Springs, SOBO from Devil's Fork. Yesterday morning we saw a pack of 6 friendly dogs (4 black, 2 tan) wandering around on the trail south of the Firescald Ridge. They were tailing a NOBO, who said they had followed him for a while. After speaking with him, we continued south, and the dogs went with us. They were ahead of us for a little way, then disappeared.
Just in case anybody is looking for them...

There is a bear hunter who lives above Jones Meadow and the dogs are probably his. I heard them barking on Saturday on my way out.
