I have a number for Gene Roll, and Joyce and Sally.
Does anyone know if they still shuttle or if not what other shuttles are in the area. I need to meet at Standing Indian campground and be dropped off at Dicks creek gap.

You can also check with Ron Haven, his network of shuttlers in the Franklin area might be of service. Standing Indian is very near Franklin.
Ron Brown also shuttles in that area. I've used him a lot.
Joyce and Sally shuttle in GA and into NC. I recommend them, but have also heard very good things about everyone mentioned so far. Be patient, most of them are very busy right now and may not be able to get back to you immediately.

Hi! Always nice to meet other section hikers in the area My father Dave and I hiked Springer to Dicks last August. Awesome hike and Joyce and Sally went out of their way to help...very accommodating. Tell them Ben and Dave say hi when you see them in June! What section will you be hiking?
Did you get covered on your ride?
We had good experiences with Joyce and Sally and also with Gene Roll. Highly recommend both. We came up with an injury that took us off the trail at the Cheese Factory. Joyce and Sally referred us to Gene in case we had emergency need of a shuttle while Joyce and Sally went out of town for a few days. We came up with an injury at the Cheese Factory. We called Gene and told him we could camp there overnight, but he came and got us that afternoon. Great folks. When we return to Georgia we will use them again.
"Are we there yet?"
