Someone who hangs around but rarely (if ever) posts.
It's also someone who views articles and posts here at WB and chooses not to register as a member. I did this myself for several months back when I first discovered WB. At any given time there are more non-members viewing stuff at WB than there are members -- it's all good.
Yeah even though people post with specific questions I'd say all the information needed to prepare someone for any kind of hike is on this site, so 99% of the time just being on here and looking is enough for most people. Then there's us
There's no reward at the end for the most miserable thru-hiker.
After gear you can do a thru for $2,000.
No training is a substitute for just going and hiking the AT. You'll get in shape.
