Looks like my dividend hasn't posted yet, but the amount will be small anyway. What I'm really waiting for is a 20% coupon which I think comes with the dividend!

I thought about waiting for the coupon but I'm sure I'll find something else I need.

The dividend amount showed up next to where it said 2012 in bold, so for me anyway, the dividend was there but maybe they hadn't updated the page text yet to 2013. It defaulted to applying it during checkout, with a box to deselect if you didn't want to use it.

I'm not seeing my dividend either... but mine will be very small too.

As for a 20% discount... campsaver.com is advertising 20% off full-price gear. I just learned about them this past year and have placed a couple of orders with them. They've been good to me so far.

Same for me, only seeing my 2012 dividend. I want the new Exos 58 pack, and so that 20% coupon will definitely be a nice discount. With my dividend should b able to get the pack for around $125.

I think Slbirdnerd is right that they just haven't updated the text yet because I checked a couple of days ago and my 2012 dividend was $0.00 and now it says 2012 dividend $40.62.

I am also waiting on the 20% off coupon because I have a couple gift cards to REI to use and I'm going to be ordering a Big Agnes Copper Spur 2. 20% = $80.00 off!

I think you're right... because if you go thru the process of placing an order (not just lookup your dividend balance), the balance listed as your 2012 dividend will automatically get applied to your purchase.

If right, then the pack should cost me $144...I'll take a $71 savings in total.

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm seeing, my previously zero 2012 balance is now $57. Come on 20% off!!!

I'm ready to pull the trigger on an Osprey Exos 48 with my dividend. However, I am also waiting for the 20% off coupon also. Waiting sucks. I WANT IT NOW. WAAAAAAAA!

Looking at the Delorme Inreach SE. 20% discount would be worth $60 on this seemingly never discounted product.

My dividend is almost enough to buy two mountain house meals :-)

2013 was more cottage gear, less REI for me.

    My dividend was posted! $1.70!

Been a member since the late 60s, but I just don't buy a lot from them any more. Part of it is the cottage industry, but the other part is how I can generally get what I want much cheaper elsewhere. Hell, I have a whole bunch of stuff in barely used condition I got from REI when I was first getting back into backpacking.

The big dividends don't usually come from REI purchases, but from using the REI credit card. If you use that card as your primary way to charge gas and travel and whatnot, you can end up with a whopping dividend.
    If not NOW, then WHEN?
