What to do about bringing a stove? (flying)

Last year, the Hiker Hostel stopped @ the outfitter in Dahlonega where fuel canisters (and anything else last minute) were purchased. Then, we stopped @ Walmart (for supper items; Subway inside) and finally the hostel.

We put our packs in a duffle w/unused stove inside. Checked our duffles. Bought fuel from our shuttler when we landed. Mailed home our duffle, traveling clothes and misc. items from the hotel.
