I have a 10-year old HighLite with a half-zip in the center, so my guess is that it is no more than 7 years old. I use the HighLite for temps down to 40 or so. It helps you retain a lot of your warmth once you have everything snugged tight; especially for a 16-oz bag. Note the sewn-through construction, so it works best in still air, and recognize that there isn't a lot of extra space to wear many clothes. I still haven't found any sleeping bag for ground-dwellers that beats the warmth-to-weight ratio, although some quilts appear to be in the same ballpark.
