    Default Paragraph Break Issue

I don't know why this keeps ocurring but when I wrote my post I had inserted paragraph breaks but after the post shows up on threads the paragraph breaks are removed resulting in a harder to understand basically long run on of a post. Can someone please advise me on why this happening to me. This has ocurred not only on a home computer but on public computer systems. Thx.

The breaks show up fine running IE8 and XP. I have problems with Windows 7 not showing the breaks unless I do at least three Carrage returns. I had all kinds of problems using Win7 on this site before the server upgrade, it's better now but not as good as XP, which I'm using at the moment.

First, I apologize for veering off subject, but this may help others, too:

It is not XP per se, it is the version of IE you are using on Win 7.

Win 7, IIRC, comes with IE9. You may even be using a higher version of IE depending on if updates were run.

You need to put IE9+ in compatibility mode to mimic IE8 functionality.

You may also want to consider a different browser. Chome is faster. Firefox is robust and does not have the baggage of using a Google product. IE is not the best browser to be honest and is only best for (IMO) for legacy apps that still insist on running on IE only. In this increasingly browser agnostic world, better options than IE overall.

I use Chrome and have that same issue fairly often. Sorry for off topic as well... Wait, what was the topic? Yo yos? I can walk the dog and rock the cradle.

Also try clearing out the cache of temp files and other garbage:

    http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache

This link for several different browsers, including tablet based ones.

If you run a Mac or Windows system, a good program to use is CCleaner for a deep scrub without having to dink around with some of the more arcane settings.
    Windows: http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner
    Mac: http://www.piriform.com/mac/ccleaner

Be sure not to install any tool bars or extra anti-virus software. Uncheck those boxes!

You have the option of keeping certain cached info (e.g. saved passwords)

    Happy. Happy.

As you note with a paragraph break.

    And another one.

    After I followed your advice

    Thank you brother.

Another Kevin offered us(me) some tips regrading this in a post a couple of months back too.

THX for something that I struggled with

Me a little less computer ignorant now.

I'm so confused, I'm not sure if I lost my horse or found a rope.
