WELL, i figure it can't be any different than what i would do with my own trailtreats..... Bury it,cathole style, ( but don't tell my dog it's a cat hole)and cover with debris/leaves ect... or bag it...

Will do with the leash.. As for the coyotes.? .. We have plenty of them here.. Myself, i love hearing them here, then down in extreme southwestern VA, and eastern KY.. The later have a little mtn'...
