Works great for me too....I ordered the stay but havent felt the need ot use it.

I used the exos 58 for a week long 100 mile railroad bed hike....was only uncomfortable leaving town with 6 liters of water and a few days food...upwards of 35-40 pounds...

Looks similar to the talon...but much lighter!

I saw a thur hiker on the pct using a talon 33 or 44 on a thru, she seemed to be fine with it...

I want to take the mesh off the hip pockets on my Osprey Exos, change it to a non-mesh pocket...as it is.... everything gets dirty when you set your pack down.

Just got a pair of Montrail Hardrocks.....hope they will work as good as my Montrail Namches Ive come to love!

I ordered the stay, but have never used it...havnet felt the need....pack weight has been 35 + pounds leaving resupply spots with full load of water..

Jeff- How about the mesh hip pockets, any chance they will change those? Too much dirt and weather gets into them to be useful...
