Hikerchick2008 has a great hiking dog(blue healer) but she bolts after deer. so whenever they are in the wild the dog stays on a leash!! proof that responsible owners do exist and dogs are ok to hike...

before my boy (st Bernard) died he went on EVERY hike with me. he was well behaved didnt chase wild animals and was a good early warning device. he was my heart and we had loads of fun on the trail....
