I used a Kelty Cosmic down 40 last year in October and was more than comfortable.

I just bought a Bear Vault BV450. It's a bit heavy but I was able to get it inside my pack. I'll lose weight somewhere else.
I don't see how anyone can hike without poles. Just seems natural to me.
Osprey Atmos 65 AG. I used it on my first AT hike. I then went to a Gossamer Gear Mariposa. I just didn't care for the way the Mariposa rode on my back. I went back to the Atmos.
I'd also love to retire and have more time to hike!
