well, if the tarp isbeing leaned towards, I have a "backyard hammock" ~3 lbs. Would it be suggested that I just buy the tarp and use the hammock (already invested in a 15* bag...)

Does anyone know what sort of rain comes around this time of year in ME/ NY? I have enough money to buy a hammock, but not a tarp, and I don't feel like sleeping in a running stream under a tarp.

I heard that using dehydrated water without rehydrating it can cause serious medical issues such as this one really weird one called De-hy-dration...

Me and my dad found that a watch worked well for eating... 2 hours and get a snack... 2 more and lunch... 2 more... snack... 2 more... snack... 2 more... supper... 2 more... sleep...

well, I picked up a pot from rei (it weighs a pound, don't judge me...) and I'll be seeing what that's like tomorrow... If I don't like it, I'll return it and continue the search...
