if I don't think ill get wet i keep them on. if I think i may get wet i use my crocs

I use to use 550 cord and it works great and its cheap but it weights a lot. there are much lighter ropes on the market from trail designs, gossamer gear , zpacks and I'm sure many other sites also.

take the inserts out and don't go with a boot so with a trail shoe or trail running shoe

in the past i used my rain pants all the time, I love them... but mine weighted way to much.. so now I either need to go with ones that are about 4 ounces (don't want to spend the money) or go...
