Went up the Kimsey Creek Trail to Standing Indian yesterday and checked the obvious campsites and didn't see anything. Sorry.

That .5 trail to the summit is a paved walkway. You can take that or catch a shuttle to the top. There is an observation deck on top. Went there several years ago with the cub scouts.

My son and I have done Springer up to Wilscot Gap, and plan to do more this spring in between Scout events.
