I feel the safest spot is the Microtel lot. Also on Rt 61 there is a small lot that has a blue blaze from the trail to it.

Where route 72 changes to 443 there is a parking lot which is on the trail and is safe. Trout run parking area is not on A.T. but close by. Parking area there is not gated.

It would be a lot cheaper shuttle if I do the shuttle to pick you up at Hbg International and take you to 501. Allentown shuttle and then back to 501 would be a lot more.
