I'm flying into either LA or SF will have 24 hours in whichever city to pick up some last minute gear and post resupplies to myself from there (I live in Mexico so doing it before isn't an option)....

Altitude isnt a problem. I live at 7500 feet all year round and regularly hike to 13000 in mountains surrounding mexico city.

Which part of the trail is the most beautiful? Should I start at the beginning or jump ahead?
Of course I'd love to just do the whole thing, but 3 weeks is all I can take off work :/

I'm looking for a 3 week hike.... anywhere not on the east coast in the US and anywhere in Canada, the more different it looks to the AT, the better.
