Thermarest works for me. I am a side sleeper too and I have sore hips sometimes, but the Thermarest is the best I have found.

I am so glad I found this - we are headed to Franklin, and I am having HUGE issues with my boots. I too have flat feet and I feel like the narrowness is too much for my feet.

This will be my best bet for now. Thank you for the advice. It is greatly appreciated. The pain lessens the more water I intake, so I am keeping it up. I am also considering cranberry tabs as well.
