Not sure if you're looking for just a rock bag or a kit, but MLD's is water proof, and anti gravity gear sells a pretty nice one that comes with a waterproof, odor barrier bag. I think someone...

I'm very rough on my gear, and have never broke any of the multiple carbon poles I've had for different shelters.
I forgot who Mr Shires sources his poles from but I had the CF poles for a Moment...
Is that the video that doesn't actually show the product being used until the halfway point? Some nice shots of it strapped to the pack though I guess...
I remember reading about this product a few years ago while trying to keep up with all things cycle related. Back then I think they were only hyping a cycle version of the product that also seemed...
Looking for Taylor and Jake, they are siblings hiking north and are probably somewhere in New York atm. (Best Guess) I had posted in Hiker locator a week ago not realizing a lost and found forum...
Didn't realize a lost and found forum existed, will try and repost there... =/
I should add that as of us meeting them they had not been bestowed with trail names.
Looking for Taylor and Jake, they are siblings hiking north and are probably somewhere around Delaware Water Gap give or take a few days hiking. They began their thru out of Harper's about a month...
Jack was someone I didn't at first like, but I spent a day with him bumming around the Dartmouth area and my opinion completely changed.
Pretty bummed out that we won't have the chance to chat...
Interesting stuff. Any leads on who the trail head culprit may have been?
It really doesn't matter. I just think assuming theft as being the likely cause to be jumping the gun a bit.

No, that's still not theft.
This fellows poles may have been stolen, but probably weren't. Focusing on the likely answers is typically more productive.

That's silly. Not everyone (Myself included) is paying attention to whose carrying poles or how many poles were there to begin with. If I see a friend's gear though, I'm bringing it to them. It...
It's a good stove. Like any backpacking stove though it will have limitations. Wind and fuel efficiency, plus CO output are issues to keep in mind. Not 100% but I believe this is the stove that's...
Opps, forgot to add that I did like the staff at the campgrounds. Very friendly and have seen them work to find everyone a spot.

I actually spoke to two separate locals this year while heading over the Presidential range that both said the AMC was a status symbol for those that don't know any better.
Personally I'm a...
It's very possible that one person left with the wrong poles and their buddy picked em up. It's not quite a theory totally without blame (As the poles possibly could still be returned) but it's...
The moose wasn't swimming! :banana
So a persons character should be the main deciding factor in their punishment?... In that case I can think of a lot of people who should be locked away for life.
Thankfully we live in a free...
If I made any assumptions then I'm sorry. Try being a little less negative and I'll try assuming less!
LOL. I wanna say something but I'm giggling to much.
What publishing company are you employed by? The controlling nature of your editor just makes it seem somewhat far fetched. Did they come up with the premise for the book? It all just seems...
Wow, this has been a tough read. I hope your books are easier to read. Please don't pen the Fennegans Wake of AT novels.
This wasn't a moose being run down by a plane, it was a moose that was walking across a shallow lake that had a man jump on it. Hardly the end of the world. As to what the law says, I'm not concerned...
The moose wasn't even swimming...
You've seen animals die from this behavior before? Aircraft and dogs? What are you talking about? Pretty vague.
Ever taken a horse across a river? At least seen it? These animals aren't as weak...
I'm pretty sure the toaks 700 is almost identical. Don't be surprised if they were manufactured in the same factory. If I remember correctly Stoic is (was?) the Backcountry house brand. In which case...
