I also own a BA Lost Ranger 15 degree bag. I have found it to keep me quite warm even when it got down to the 20's. I do have a silk liner in it that probably helps to keep me a little warmer.

My vote is for Minus33 100% Merino Wool Base Layer 703 and all of their Merino wool products. They feel terrific against my skin, they fit great and don't wear out.

In the first 4 days of April I did a SOBO from Greenwood lake (Rt.17A) to HP and the last 4 days of April went NOBO from DWG to HP. HP to Greenwood lake plenty of water but even with all the rain...
The best trail radio I have found is the Kaito KA800. Although it doesn't use AA batteries it is definitely worth checking out..AM/FM/NOAA/MP3 lockout switch etc.
