Campfires have been a part of camping forever. Campfires are not a part of hiking. If you are on the move don't think you can control a fire ring with left to smolder trash? I am new to long hiking...

I use Mueller sleeve extra large neo. And yes I sweat and they smell , but they work for me when I carry my pack. I use poles and carry to much weight. Such as life?

Just starting to plan a thru hike. I will be NOBO early March . Working on getting some weight off myself and my pack. I will be planning mail drops along the way. Let me know if I can help .
