    Easy tarp tent designs?

I'm searching of course, but there is a dizzying amount of info and designs out there. I'd like to find a good design with a floor that uses hiking poles (one or two) so a tree isn't necessary. I...

I like the very first design as well. If I can find an easy design that has the inside completely covered I'm all for it. Now what kind of tarps are these? Regular store bought tarps?

Lets' see tarp shelter ideas and setups!

To sort of piggy-back on the other thread with a member looking for tents, I'm not against doing a simple tarp shelter either. I'd like to see some good setups, using rope/paracord, hiking poles, etc...

Well I'd say my budget for a tent/shelter is up to 60-75 bucks. I'm going to start a new thread about tarp shelter ideas. I said that cuz I'm not against tarp shelters at all. Just looking at options.

Ok I may get flamed for this question/comment, but where are the tents/shelters for us poor folk? Am I looking at sleeping under a tarp?

I would like to find a small tent/tarp/shelter that could hold up to two people. Simple and lightweight of course. I may want to try an overnighter for my first AT hike so I would like to get some...

That ULA Camino looks good. The load weights seem a little light though, however I really don't know about this stuff yet so it could just be my perception. Is 40lbs good for a pack that size?

    American made packs...suggestions?

I like to try to purchase US made goods when I can but besides the more tactical gear like Kifaru and Spec Ops, I don't really see any us made packs. Any suggestions?
